2025-07-14

GridWorld was invited to attend the Chinese Geophysical Society's "Two Mountains, Two Rivers" Geophysical Academic Exchange Conference. On July 10-11, the conference was successfully held in Jinzhong, Shanxi. Guiding units for the event included the Chinese Geophysical Society, the Shanxi Geological Exploration Bureau, and the Shanxi Geological Group. The organizer was the Shanxi Office of the Chinese Geophysical Society, while the undertakers included Shanxi Coal Geological Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Institute Co., Ltd., its affiliated Academician and Expert Workstation in Geophysics, and the Key Laboratory of Natural Resources Survey, Monitoring and Protection in Mining Cities under the Ministry of Natural Resources. Co-organizers included the Shandong, Hebei, and Henan Offices of the Chinese Geophysical Society, as well as the Shanxi Society of Geophysics.

This academic exchange centered on the theme "Developing Geophysics for High Quality and Boosting New Quality Productive Forces with High Efficiency." It attracted over 230 experts, scholars, professionals, technicians, and managers from enterprises, institutions, research institutes, and universities in fields such as geological exploration, coal mining, coalbed methane development, and instrument R&D and sales.

At this academic exchange, GridWorld Chairman Yang Qin delivered an in-depth special report focused on the core topic: "Requirements for 3D Geological Modeling Technology in Intelligent Mine Geological Assurance."

During his presentation, Chairman Yang Qin comprehensively and meticulously detailed the specific requirements for 3D geological modeling technology. He focused on key dimensions such as accuracy control, modeling speed improvement, multi-resolution adaptation, overall structure construction, and meshing processing, aligning them with the practical needs of intelligent mine geological assurance work. Simultaneously, he systematically shared with attendees the latest research progress and practical achievements obtained by the GridWorld team through continuous exploration in this technological field.

This academic exchange provided GridWorld with a valuable communication platform. In the future, we will take this conference as an opportunity to continue deepening R&D in 3D geological modeling technology, constantly improving intelligent mine geological assurance solutions. We look forward to advancing hand-in-hand with industry partners, empowering the high-quality development of mines through technological innovation.
