On the afternoon of June 19, 2025, the inaugural meeting of the Special Committee for Mineral Resources Protection and Supervision under the Zhejiang Provincial Mining Federation was held in Hangzhou. Professor Yang Qin, Chairman of Beijing GridWorld Software Technology Co., Ltd., was invited to attend and contribute to the new chapter in the management and development of mineral resources in Zhejiang Province.

This special committee is one of the 13 committees planned for establishment during the first meeting of the Sixth Council of the Zhejiang Provincial Mining Federation. It was formally established in accordance with the spirit of the first expanded meeting of the Sixth Council's presidency and the Committee Establishment Plan of the Zhejiang Provincial Mining Federation, after completing standardized procedures such as candidate recommendations and system development.

As a subsidiary body of the Provincial Mining Federation, the committee focuses on building a multi-party collaboration platform involving government, enterprises, research institutions, and academia, possessing both professional service and comprehensive coordination attributes. As a specialized platform dedicated to mineral resources protection and supervision, the committee will promote standardized industry development through seven core functions:

● Implementing national and Zhejiang Provincial policies, laws, and regulations on mineral resources protection and supervision.

● Establishing a professional training network for mine geological surveying and reserve assessment.

● Promoting the research, development, and adoption of new technologies, methods, and equipment for exploration and development.

● Organizing the drafting of group standards for reserve assessment and comprehensive utilization technologies.

● Conducting research on resource conservation and comprehensive utilization to provide decision-making consultations for the government.

● Forming a technical team within the committee to provide technical consultations for geological exploration units and mining enterprises.

● Conducting field studies, providing on-site guidance at mining enterprises to enhance resource utilization and technology application levels.
